We are currently seeking qualified Platers for ongoing industrial installation contract in Southampton.
The ideal candidates will hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification and possess either a CCNSG or Ace card. A basic DBS check, as well as mandatory drug and alcohol screenings, are required for this position.
The project, located in Fawley, Southampton, working an 11 day fortnight with 11-hour days.
This role is suitable for experienced Platers with a strong background in industrial installations on petrochemical sites. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, qualified to NVQ Level 3, and possess the necessary safety certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of plate and pipework on site.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Salary
Rates of Pay for ALL Operatives: •
Pipefitter Grade 5
Basic rate – £21.27 per hour PAYE •
OT1 – £29.78 per hour PAYE (over 9.5 hours Monday to Thursday/ all day Friday/ first 4 hours Saturday) •
OT2 – £38.29 per hour PAYE (over 4 hours Saturday and all hours Sunday)

Daily rate £48.16
Weekly rate: £337.12

Prior to starting on-site you must pass a Drug & Alcohol test and hold a valid DBS (Within 3 Months) If not you will have to apply for an up to date DBS
In this role, you will be required to complete and pass an appropriate pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening.
